This is where you create pets in The Sims 2 which are a cat and dog unlike The Sims where you have to buy a pet and only can choose from a few breeds.
Similar to Create-A-Sim, this is where pets are created.

Create-A-Pet is basically customizing it in to pretty much any shape and size that your pet can morph into.
In The Sims 2, the Create-A-Pet feature is part of the CAS. An adult or elder dog or cat can be added to the family. There are many options to customize the appearance of a pet as well as predefined breeds. A pets personality and names can then be chosen. You can also unlock many new coats and collars through in-game experiences. Now create-a-pet is a little thing you get with the expansion pack Sims 2 Pets. You can either choose a cat or dog and then go onto more important things like stressing over names and breeds. As to wether you should pick Create-a-breed or just a breed i unfortunately have no answer. It comes down to what you are willing to do. Creating one takes more time but does provide better results if your looking for the perfect pet. I myself do not know every single cheat or tip so in learn. Here are a few good cheat sites.
