Create a World

The Create-A-World tool will give the player the ability to create and share unique new worlds for The Sims 3. It will allow players to create custom neighborhoods, just like you could in The Sims 2, except it is more in-depth. It will be available for download from TheSims3.com in December 2009. It is similar to the creation tools in SimCity 4.

  • Terraforming
  • place roads and sidewalks (or footpaths)
  • spray on custom terrain paints like lava, snow or pink cotton candy
  • place community lots, career "rabbit holes" and liveable housing lots
  • import height maps
