Case Report: initial investigation
On 31st October at 7.33pm, Constable Warne reported by telephone to Lanscumbe Station that a body had been found by the Pol Stones, an ancient stone circle, in Polgannon in suspicious circumstances. He requested assistance. I, Detective Inspector Roscarrock, arrived in Polgannon at 8.16pm and got to the circle shortly afterwards. The local doctor and SOCO team were already in attendance.
