Dishwashers are large appliances used for cleaning up dishes, coffee cups, etc. They can be found in buy mode under "Appliances -> Large Appliances".

Notes

  • Dishwashers in The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 must be placed under a counter (the moveobjects cheat is not required for this), while dishwashers in The Sims are standalone appliances.
  • In The Sims, the surface of a dishwasher can be used for food preparation.
  • In The Sims, broken dishwashers will leak, creating floods that need to be mopped up.
  • In The Sims, broken dishwashers can still be used, and Sims will use them, but using a broken dishwasher will cause even more flooding.
