When viewed in the [[neighborhood]] view, by default it is nighttime as opposed to the usual daytime for other neighborhoods and sub-neighborhoods. The player can toggle daytime/nighttime view in the bottom-left corner of the screen. Going downtown is free of charge, as is going from one lot to another. If ''[[The Sims 2: Seasons\|Seasons]]'' is installed, the seasonal progression of the sub-neighborhood is: Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring. Line 14: Downtown does not come with any families ready to play, either in the town or in the Sim Bin.
