'''The Eclectic and Enigmatic Energizer''' is an [[Aspiration rewards|aspiration reward]] that was added in ''[[The Sims 2]]''. According to its description, the technology behind it is "a puzzle wrapped in an enigma, held together with copious amounts of duct tape and bits of twine", and it certainly looks like a ramshackle contraption that's held together with duct tape and twine. Regardless of what it looks like, it works - though it can only be used five times (just like its descripton, "ONLY FIVE USES ARE ALLOWED FOR THIS ADDICTIVE ITEM".
 
The Sim using the Energizer pulls a lever on the right-hand side of the device, then steps into an old washtub on the left-hand side. If the use is successful, the Sim will be surrounded by a bright glow as his or her [[motives]] are boosted. However, failure will drain the Sim's motives, though it will not kill him or her.
