If ''[[The Sims 2: Seasons|Seasons]]'' is installed, using the Energizer will raise the Sim's temperature. There is a bug introduced in ''Seasons'' which may cause Sims to become stuck in the Energizer. This was fixed in the [[The Sims 2: Seasons/patch|Seasons patch]].
The Energizer is also well-known from the Beaker household in Strangetown. In the storybook image, [[Nervous Subject]] is seen in the machine, and failing while Loki is standing outside it, looking very dissapointed at the failure. Once entering the Beaker household, the Energizer among other aspiration rewards can be seen on the first floor. The energizer hasn't been used yet.
