==Early years==

Atheia was born to Anton Vargheim IV and his [[Human]] wife [[Fanon:Deanna Vargheim|Deanna Vargheim]]. Born a human, she accidentally ingested mermaid kelp as a toddler, becoming a mermaid. Her nickname, "Thea", was first used to refer to her by [[Fanon:Bryan Vargheim|Bryan Vargheim]] when he accidentally mispronounced her name.
