Bree and Orson decide to move to Bridgeport, so there is less risk of there secret being exposed. Orson later discover's that he is dying of cancer. He then divorced Bree and soon passes away. On the day of Orson's passing, Bree learns that Danielle is in labor and gave birth to a baby boy who Bree later names Benjamin Van de Kamp after removing Orson from her life. Danielle sadly passed away during childbirth leaving Bree all alone, seven months Pregnant and bringing up her grandson as her own.

Bree met Matt de Luca and was quickly married to him. Bree soon found herself trapped with no freedom from Matt. In order to escape Bree murder's Matt by shooting him, in the head. Bree pack's her things and moves to the edge of the town in a small house with her 'son' Benjamin. Bree later gives birth to her second son who she later calls Matt after being unable to find a suitable name.
