Dustin felt his heart begin to race. He felt his palms starting to sweat and his stomach had tied itself into a knot. He felt sick. "Dustin," King grunted "what are you waiting for? Let's go man, we ain't got all night." Dustin nodded and got out of the car. Dustin's legs turned to jelly. He quietly snuck up to the front door and attempted to "pick" to lock. Gordon King and his goons didn't know that Dustin lived here with Mona. They also didn't know he had a key to the back and front doors around his neck, tied to a piece of string. Dustin turned back to the car and made a big show of the fact he couldn't get through the door. Without further hesitation, he dashed around the back of the house, where he used his key to gain access. Before he opened the door, he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He pulled out his phone and saw he had received a text from Mona.

Where are you? There's this car waiting outside the house. I've called the police. Come home soon.

Mona.

Dustin couldn't take it anymore. He pulled the handle and pushed the door, only to find: Darkness. He quietly closed the door behind him, only to hear Mona's voice. "Where have you been?" she asked accusingly. Dustin couldn't take this anymore. He was still with his 'no lies policy'.

"There's something I need to tell you Mona." He took a deep breath. "I'm... I'm a thief, and I'm with the guy in the car." The look on Mona's face tore Dustin apart. Before she could start shouting at him, he continued. "At least, that's what they think. I joined these guys because I thought I was signing up to be a mechanic. We started garage work, but then they forced me to steal from other garages. Then they forced me into the criminal underworld. I had no choice. You see, I had no choice! I needed to get the money to support Mum, Beau and Tommy! You wouldn't understand how hard it is to make such a choice! I was doing it for their sake! Please Mona, you've got to help me... I never wanted to do this!" Mona evaluated what she heard and came to a conclusion.

"I'll help you out Dustin, on this one occasion. There's something I haven't told you either. I'm-" Before Mona could finish her sentence, the front door burst open. Gordon King was stood in the doorway. "Well, this explains why you were taking your sweet time! You're going to regret betraying me" Before King could react, he was rugby tackled from behind. A police officer was wrestling with the crime lord. When the handcuffs have been forced on Gordon, the police officer rose. "How's it going Dustin?" Richie said with a grin. Silence. "I see. I'll take this... being to the police station. Seeya." And with that, he left.

"You were saying Mona?"

She squirmed. "You want coffee? This may take a while to explain."

Dustin and Mona were discussing her big plans. "The bottom line is, I'm leaving Pleasantview to persue my singing career. I shoud have told you sooner Dustin, I'm really sorry..."

Dustin pulled his brave face and replied: "It's OK, Mona. I only wish the best for you. How long will you be gone?"

"About that, I have no idea... a while, six months or so, maybe more..."
