When Dani was 2, her father perished in a freak electrical accident. Her mother perished soon after, in a mysterious drowning. With no living aunts or uncles, she and her sister were placed in care of their half-sister, [[Fanon:June Straight|June]].

Dani's sister, Kirsten, had passed away. A few months after her funeral, Dani wound up WooHooing with Tracey again. Guilt-stricken, she confessed to Nadine what happened. Nadine became irate and her confession culminated in an argument. The two were rivals once again. With nothing to loose, Dani and Tracey started officially dating. Reaching the end of their lives, Tracey and Dani quickly became engaged. After hearing this news, Nadine packed up and moved to [[Hidden Springs]], never to speak to Dani or Tracey ever again.
