When I first noted that Dirk's relationship with Lilith was less than perfect, I actually kept them together for quite some time. But I'd already broken Angela up with [[Fanon:Dustin Broke (C.Syde)|Dustin Broke]] so it made sense to break Lilith and Dirk up as well so that I could pair them up with Dustin and Angela respectively. Lilith and Dirk's relationship involved romantic gestures which made it seem perfect. But their relationship had little else to recommend it. Dirk has become employed in the [[Athletic (career)|Athletic]] career starting as a Waterperson.
