The citizens, shocked by Ezekiel's betrayal, threatened to kick him out of office. But after speaking with his most trusted advisors and officials, Ezekiel was able to secretly spread the word that he planned on using the traitor's strategy against them: he would destroy the Papal State from the inside out. He would act as an inside man, spying on the Ecclesiarchy and planning their every move. He then would convey the plans to the Council of Bridgeport, who would use this accordingly to devise a strategy to defeat Kallisto and her goons once and for all.
