The Goth family resides in an aristocratic manor in Willow Creek, across the street from the Pleasant family. The family consists of married couple Mortimer and Bella Goth, and their children, Cassandra and Alexander.
Mortimer's parents and their pet cats live close by, in another part of Willow Creek, as the Goth Sr. family. They founded Willow Creek on a day that is now celebrated annually as a holiday called the 4th of Summer.
