Ladah: a Slavic female given name.
Leela: a fictional character in the British science fiction series Doctor Who.

• These are the first pre-made LGBT couples in The Sims 4 and the second one in the series.
• In promotional material the Hecking family also had a cat named Joaquin, which didn't make it into the final game.
• In promotional material Agnetha and Frida also had a cat named Emmanuelle, which didn't make it into the final game. According to Lada-A, cat named Emmanuelle died.
• The family is a reference to a meme "they're good dogs Brent" from the twitter user, @WeRateDogs, who were tweeting to a user to the user @Brant about his complaints of giving illogical ratings to dog pictures.
  • The family name "Hecking" is a reference to the common word @WeRateDogs would use to describe dogs.
  • The lot the family lives on is called "It's A Good House" referencing the phrase "they're good dogs Brent"
  • Brant and Brent are both the names referered to the user @Brant, to which @WeRateDogs jokingly replied with their name as Brent instead.
