Chapter 1: New student

A few hours before the epilogue of A Sim's Tale: Book 2...

Astrid Priscilla Toadstool was beginning her first day of eleventh grade. She was kind nervous to begin school, because she just moved to Sunset Valley yesterday. She was worried that her classmates wouldn't be as good as they were in her last town, Riverview. She was also worried because she heard three months ago, there was a fire in this school

Especially after she left behind her best friend, and boyfriend Elliot Briody. They had been friends for six years and afterwards, they had fallen in love. But her dad announced that they would be moving to Sunset Valley because he got a job offer there. Of course he took it.

Astrid stepped foot on the bus. She shifted into a seat in the middle. She got some weird looks for being a newcomer to the school. No one knew who she was.

She put her headphones in, listening to her favorite country song, "Sheeky Fab Een Gern" by Luke Bryan. Minutes later, the bus stopped, and she noticed two twin girls, and a young boy enter the bus. The twins sat across from her, and since there was only one seat left (Astrid's seat) the young boy sat next to her. Astrid rolled her eyes. She wanted to be alone right now.

When they arrived at Sunset Valley Community School, Astrid was surprised that everyone had different ages here. She saw kindergarteners, elementary school children, middle school kids, teens, and some who haven't had enough credits to graduate yet.

"What diversity..." Astrid said. "I hope they have a basketball team."

Astrid's first class was P.E., her favorite. "Ah, yeah! I love P.E. so much. Hopefully there will be less lazy girls here."

She went to the locker room, dressed into her athletic wear, then asked the teacher a question.

"Ms, will there be any room on the basketball team for me to join?" She asked the teacher.

"Of course, if you have the skill. I'll set up a tryout for you during lunch, be here."

"Okay, thank you."

Astrid's second class was Simlish, which she found kind of boring. They read a boring story. Her third class was Science, and her fourth class was World History.

After world history, lunch finally came. Astrid quickly ate her sandwich as she walked to the gymnasium.

When she went there for tryouts, she sat on the bleachers for a moment. Suddenly, a prankster pulled her shoelaces from underneath.

"You've been pranked!" The blonde haired prankster yelled, then went to sit with her friends in the tribune.

"Aw, come on!" Astrid yelled, then proceeded to tie her shoes.

"Hey, you newcomer, come here!" A voice was heard, from a blonde haired, tan skinned basketball player.

"Y-yes, what's wrong?" Astrid asked.

"Well, our captain of the women's basketball team here wants to see your athletic prowess," the girl said.

"Err, I don't know..." the girl.

"Come on, don't be nervous Toads... err..." The blonde girl wracked her brain to remember the girl's name.

"The name's Astrid Toadstool" she reminded.

"Okay, thanks," the captain said, "So Astrid, if you don't mind, I really wanna see your ability".

"Well, if that's so... Okay" Astrid said, a little nervous. She didn't know these girls very well, so she hoped they wouldn't laugh at her.

Astrid later showed off her magnificent skill, everyone saw it in awe.

"Impressive, Astrid" the captain said, clapping her hands.

"Y-yeah, thanks captain!" Astrid said, relieved that they were impressed.

"Well Astrid, what about a one-on-one?" The captain said, challenging Astrid.

"Wait a minute? Are you sure?" Astrid surprised.

"Pretty sure"

"Well, okay" Astrid answered.

Everyone became silent, both the caption and Astrid were ready in their position. At the tribune, four teenaged girl watched. The referee tossed the ball on the air, both the captain and Astrid jumped to get it.

"Aha! Got it!" Astrid thought. As she dribbled the basketball down the court. The captain was quick on her feet, and then she stole the ball.

The captain dribbled the basketball down to her basket, she shot a basket but suddenly...

"Hiya!" Astrid blocked the ball before it could land. She had ahold of it now. She dribbled back to her side, then made a basket!

"We have a winner!" The referee said. "Astrid... Er... What's your middle name?"

"I will never say my middle name..."

"Whatever... Astrid Toadstool!" The other teammates clapped for their new teammate.

"You, um... You play well." The captain said, panting.

"I know," Astrid said proudly.

"How about we have some lunch together then?"

"Sure! Let's go now."

"By the way, the name's Leona Redfield."

"Nice to meet you. Your last name... Redfield... It sounds familiar," Astrid thought.

"Okay, well let's go to the cafeteria before Darlene eats all the pizza!"

Chapter 2: More friends

In the cafeteria, Leona led Astrid to her lunch table, full of her friends.

"Hey guys, meet my new friend, Astrid Toadstool. Astrid, this is Jean, my twin sister, and my friends Bella Bachelor, Mortimer Goth, Kaylynn Langerak, Darlene Bunch, Dina Caliente, and Ale- well actually... Nevermind"

"Nice to meet you," Astrid said to everyone.

"Please, sit down Astrid!" Bella invited. Astrid took a seat next to Jean and Mortimer.

"So Astrid, what's your story? We wanna get to know you." Kaylynn said.

"Yeah, what was it like in your old town?" Darlene asked, eating a pizza slice.

"I used to live in Riverview. But I didn't like it all that much."

"Why not?" Bella asked.

"Well as you know Riverview is a very old fashioned town. So many girls who lived there in my childhood were really girly. They played with dolls, wore pink, and I stuck out like a sore thumb at school. I always liked to play in the mud with dump truck toys. The neighborhood girls, Tatiana Ivanov, Carlotta Lobos, Anita Lobos, Kirsten Remington and Susie Broke always never let me play with them. They called me a clumsy, sloppy, tomboy. And I was always sad..."

"Aw, that's too bad." Leona said.

"But I always had my father, my cousin Nia, and my boyfriend as my friends..." Astrid told them. "And I survived..."

"Well Astrid, we accept you." Leona replied. "We aren't mean like them."

"Yeah!" Kaylynn said. "Since one of our friends moved, we always felt a little empty at our table."

"Thank you guys," Astrid smiled. She now had more friends than she ever imagined. "So Leona, Jean, tell me about your family."

Leona told Astrid about the Redfield family. She told her about her politician father, her cook mother, her younger brother Chris, and her adopted brother Charlie.

"Nice family. So, Leona do you want to come to my home after school? I have a soccer net it my yard and we can play some."

"Okay, cool, sure."

"Hey which class do you have after lunch?" Astrid asked.

"I have Simology, with Mr. Wolff." Leona answered.

"Me too, let's go put our backpacks in there."

They went into the Simology class and set their backpacks down. Astrid sat at a three person table, next to Leona and a blonde haired boy with a hat. Astrid chatted with Leona but noticed he stared at her too much, making her uncomfortable...

"Is something wrong?" Astrid asked.

"Huh? Oh n-nothing..." He said. Then he looked away.

"Oh, that's Darlene's brother, Arlo. I sit next to him in here."

"He seems kind of... strange," Astrid said. " I hope the teacher doesn't call on me..."

"Is the quivering new girl scared?" A brown-haired girl with pink highlights asked from behind.

"Shut up! You... Er..."

"The name's Makayla, I'm the f#&@ing queen of this school. Don't get in my way."

"Well, Makayla. I don't like your attitude." Astrid said.

"Trying to act tough in front of the queen, eh?" Makayla asked.

"Astrid, you don't wanna be on her bad side, trust me." Leona whispered.

"That'll be hard..." Astrid mumbled, showing a clear distaste for Makayla.

Chapter 3: Burgundy household

"So, Astrid, since school's over can I go to your home, and meet your family?" Leona asked.

"Of course, you're my new friend after all," Astrid replied.

Astrid and Leona sat on the bus in the front seats. As the bus drove down the road, Astrid began to hum a tune.

"Mon-zay-noo, mon-zee-wa, ippy-nooboooooo, oh nooboo, shay-zaw..."

"What's that song?" Leona asked.

"Oh, it's a song that I learned while my family went to France last summer." Astrid said. "It's so catchy. I sing it whenever I'm doing chores."

"You're singing is so good, Astrid!" Leona complimented. "Do you have the Virtuoso trait?"

"No, I don't..." Astrid admitted. "But I'm a better singer than my cousin. She's not so good."

"Hehe, yeah. My sister isn't a very good singer either." Leona said, then they laughed.

When they arrived to Astrid's house, Leona walked in her.

"Nice house"

"Thanks," Astrid replied. Suddenly, Leona spotted a blonde haired girl in the corner. She appeared to be talking to herself...

"I know, Jelly Bean. I can't believe I got sick on the first day of school!"

"That's my sister, Victoria." Astrid whispered "She always talks to herself, it's weird..."

"I think I may know why..." Leona said.

"Huh? Well anyway, let's go to my room."

They both walked to Astrid's bedroom. Then Leona held her nose.

"Ew! It's so dirty in here!" Leona yelled. "Does that plate have mold on it?"

"Who cares? It's just my room." Astrid said. "Plus, I have the slob trait."

"Well, I have the neat trait!" Leona yelled. "I can't believe we have conflicting traits."

"Well since my parents are so busy with their new job, they haven't had any time to clean." Astrid told her. "I think my mom will hire a maid."

"Do you want to play some soccer outside now?"

"Sure thing,"

In the Burgundy household

Burgundy house

"Honey, h-how was school?" Mrs. Burgundy asked.

"It was horrible, it sucked, just like usual." Makayla replied.

"Wait, Makayla what are you wearing?" Her mother asked, seeing Makayla's outfit. She had super short shorts, and a tank top that showed her stomach.

Makayla's argument

"Oh, #$%@ I forgot to change into my fake clothing..."

"That's it! Go to the backyard without your cell phone and think about what you've done!"

"No!!!! I hate the outdoors!"

"OUTSIDE, NOW!" Mrs. B yelled. It was strange, such a nice lady getting so angry and upset.

"Oh, Makayla... Why did I ever introduce you to your grandmother..." Suddenly, she started to have a flashback...

Twelve years ago

Lynda was teaching her daughter how to walk, when suddenly, Lynda's mother Chelsea Burgundy walked in.

"Hey there, my loser daughter. I wanna spend the day with Makayla." She said.

"Mom? I thought I told you you weren't allowed in my house..." Lynda said.

"Shut up, idiot. I'm your mother and I can do whatever I want!" Chelsea then picked Makayla up.

"Okay now, Makayla, time to teach you what fun life is like!" Chelsea said, as she threw Makayla in the backseat...

"NO! MY BABY!!" Lynda yelled... She couldn't believe her evil mother just stole her daughter. "Only the player could know what she's doing with her..." Lynda started crying.

It was 3 days later, Chelsea and Makayla returned... Chelsea had spoiled Makayla and turned her into a horrible person. Makayla was saying curse words, pranking all the neighbors, and even flirted with boys, twice her age...

In the present Makayla sat in her backyard, very angry at her mom. Suddenly, she looked over her fence to see that the new girl and Leona Redfield were having a soccer game in their yard.

"Those athletic $@#$% live right next to me, hmmm. Maybe I could do a hilarious prank on them..."

Chapter 4: Picnic basket prank

"Goal, Astrid!! You win!!!" Vicky yelled. "A-achoo!"

"Vicky, you should seriously go inside and get some rest." Astrid said. "You're sick."

"Okay..." Vicky went inside.

"So Astrid, now that we finished your soccer game, what do you want to do now?" Leona asked.

"Well... I was think we could-"

Suddenly a picnic basket flew through the air and landed into their yard.

"Where did that come from?" Leona said, then picked it up. "What's inside?" She opened it up, then screamed!

"AHHH! SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA!" She yelled, then ran to the other side of the yard.

"You must really hate iced tea..." Astrid said, confused on why she yelled that.

"NO! Look inside!"

Astrid looked inside then ran to Leona. "Who put a beehive in there? Now the bees are so angry! DAD!!!"

No one answered.

"Oh no, I forgot. My dad is still at work!"

"Astrid, I'm so afraid of bees!"

"Me too!"

"What do we do? They will come here eventually!" Leona said, then hugged Astrid in fear.

"I-I don't know!"

Suddenly, no sounds happened from the picnic basket. Then they heard laughing sound.

"HA HA HA HA HA! OH MY GOSH, HA HA HA HA HA, I CAN'T EVEN!"

"Who is laughing? Astrid asked. Suddenly, the mean girl from school, Makayla entered their yard.

"M-Makayla?" Astrid asked.

"I got you so goodly!" Makayla laughed. "It's not a real beehive! It's fake, and I put my phone in there to make a bee buzzing sound!"

"Why would you do that to us?" Leona asked. "I'm telling your mother! Come, Astrid!"

"NOOOOO! I'm already in trouble for my outfits!!" Makayla ran after them.

In Makayla's living room, her mother was wondering what was going on.

"Who are you?" She asked.

"Mrs. Burgundy, it's us, your students Leona and Astrid!"

"Oh right, you're in my math class..."

"Your daughter just pretended to attack us with bees!"

"MAKAYLA! Why? WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH YOU?" Lynda yelled.

"I didn't! They're lying!"

"Yeah right! I don't believe you after you lied so much!" Lynda yelled. "I'm taking you to the library after school as punishment!"

"NOOOOO!" Makayla yelled. "I DON'T WANNA BE IN THE SAME PLACE AS THE NERDS ARE!"

"Now go to your room now!" Makayla went to her room.

Chapter 5: The Visit

A few days later, it was the weekend. Astrid was on the computer, using it to write an essay for Simology class. Suddenly, the doorbell was heard.

"I'll get it!" Astrid's mother said, then ran to the door. "Oh hello! It's so nice to see you again!"

"Hm... Wonder who it is." Astrid thought. "Ugh... Stupid Mr. Wolff! I hate doing essays for Simology."

"Astrid! Guess who it is?" Her mother asked.

"Unless it's Leona or Jean, I really don't care."

"Oh really? Well I guess Elliot can go home then..."

"Wait? Elliot?" Astrid ran over to the front door.

"ELLIOT! It's so good to see you again!" Astrid said, then hugged him.

"Same here, Astrid!" Elliot said. "So, do you wanna go on a date or something?"

"Of course!" Astrid said. "How about you can meet my new friends at the park!"

"Sure, we can!" Elliot agreed, then they rode in a taxi to Central Park.

IN THE PARK

"Ugh, I can't believe mom forced us to come here," Jean said.

"Well I'm happy to be at the park!" Leona replied.

"Hey Leona! I want you to meet someone!" Leona and Jean turned around, and saw Astrid with a blonde haired teenager.

"Hello Astrid, I thought you were stuck at home doing an essay." Jean said.

"Who is he?" Leona asked.

"This is my boyfriend from Riverview, Elliot Briody!"

"Oh nice to meet you," Leona said.

"Hey Leona, you almost look familiar." Elliot said. "You know, you look just like a girl I met 7 years ago when I used to live in Sunset Valley."

"Wait... You look familiar to me too," Leona said. "I remember a boy from my class who looked just like you but younger."

"Well then, which class were you in 7 years ago?"

Leona told him the class she used to be in, then Elliot revealed it was the same one he had when he lived in Sunset Valley.

"So, you and your father were those annoying Vita Alto supporters?" Leona asked.

"Of course! Vita Alto had the greatest idea! It was a revolutionary idea!"

"No! Sunset Valley never should always be the quiet peaceful town it has always been!"

"No way! Stop being so old-fashioned! Get your mind out of the 1950s already!" Elliot yelled. "This town would have been better off with Vita Alto as the mayor instead of Nancy Stupid-graab!"

"You take that back!" Leona yelled.

The argument went on. Jean tried to pull Leona back but it was no use.

"Jean, what are they talking about?" Astrid asked, she never heard of Nancy Landgraab or Vita Alto before.

"They were two people running for mayor seven years ago. I guess Elliot lived here and he was on Vita Alto's side. We were on Nancy's side," Jean replied.

"QUIT YOUR STUPID FIGHTING!" Someone yelled, then Leona and Elliot stopped, and looked at the voice who said that. It was Lynda Burgundy.

"Sorry Mrs. Burgundy." Leona said.

"It's okay, just don't fight over that stupid election. It was seven years ago. Move on."

"Yes ma'am, okay," Elliot said.

"Good." Lynda was about to walk away, but suddenly Astrid went to her.

"Hey Mrs. Burgundy, I always had a question..."

"What?" Lynda asked.

"Why is your daughter such a mean, horrible girl?" She asked.

Chapter 6: Lynda's story

"You're asking me what?" Lynda said, surprised.

"You heard what I said, Mrs. B." Astrid replied.

"I suppose I could tell you." Lynda said. "Well, it all started with my mother... When I was so young, we lived in Riverview, and she always child abused me. And then her parents, my grandparents learned that she always hurted me when I was eleven years old."

"What does this have to do with Makayla?" Leona asked.

"Hey, this is my story to tell!" Lynda said, mad that Leona interrupted her story. "Where was I? Oh yes. So on my eleventh birthday, my grandparents got custody for me and my mom was so afraid the cops would get her, she went into hiding."

"Wow." Astrid said. "Unbelievable."

"During my teenage years, well, they were great until my best friend Lily moved away. Then I was all alone."

"Aw, how sad!" Leona blurted.

"However when I entered university, I met Makayla's father, Randolph Cooper. He was so romantic to me during college. Even though he was so rebellious and didn't like school. After we graduated, we got married. Soon, I became pregnant, and I was so excited. But that's when I learned that he hates children and we got into a fight so bad, we got divorced."

"Then, I had to raise Makayla by myself. Everything went great, until twelve years ago when Makayla was five, I was trying to teach her to walk but then, my mom was seen for the first time ever. She kidnapped Makayla for three days and taught her that being bad is good. Now, Makayla has been so rotten. She dyes her hair pink without my permission, dates older guys like Parker Langerak, and says so many curse words."

"Man, I wish we could have stopped things from ending up like this." Astrid said.

"Well, there's nothing you can do about it now." Lynda said. "Makayla will be graduating soon, and then, she will be free and do all the bad things she wants. I just hope she won't join the criminal career. Anyway, I gotta go, bye."

"Hey Astrid, what if there was a way?" Leona asked, smirking.

"How?"

"Well, there's been rumors about a woman in this very town who has been working on..." Leona started to whisper. "time travel technology..."

Chapter 7: Unbelievable

"Time travel technology? Are you joking?" Astrid yelled.

"Nope, I'm not. Trust me, I didn't believe it until recently, something strange happened that never would have guessed. I believe that this time travel technology could exist."

"Well, I guess you wouldn't lie..." Astrid said.

"Hey guys my dad just texted me, I gotta go," Elliot said. "It was good to see you Astrid."

"Oh, bye Elliot." Astrid replied "So, who has the time travel thing?"

"Well, this scientist who lives in a house where the Andrews family used to live, her name is Mrs. Hall." Leona explained. "We must convince her to let us use her time travel machine."

"Okay, I'm sure we can!" Astrid said.

"No! Absolutely not!" Mrs. Hall rejected their question. "This uh... isn't a time machine! Hehe... You must have heard a stupid rumor or something." Then, she slammed the door on their faces.

"Well, that didn't work." Astrid said.

"Don't worry Astrid, we can sneak in and use her time machine when she isn't looking. Let's do it!"

"Yeah, I saw a back door we could sneak into."

Astrid and Leona jumped over the fence, into Mrs. Hall's backyard. They saw some barbecue equipment next to the door. They moved it over and quietly opened the door. They saw Mrs. Hall reading a book on the couch, with earbuds on, so she couldn't hear them. Then they entered a room. It was a bedroom for a child.

"Wrong room." Leona said. They entered the room next to it, which was a small lab which had the time machine in it."

"Okay Astrid, set it to twelve years ago, near Mrs. Burgundy's original house." Leona said. Astrid set the time and place.

"Let's go in." Leona said.

They activated the machine. Soon they felt themselves going through time. Then, the time machine turned off... They walked out side.

They were very confused by their surroundings. They were in the Old Pier Beach, but there was no road, no houses, and in the back there was a few buildings, but they looked so old fashioned.

"Wait... This is weird." Leona said. "When are we?" Leona checked the time on the time machine.

"Astrid, you set the time to 120 years ago, not 12 years ago!" Leona said. "And it says we can't use the time machine for two hours because we used its resources!"

"Oh my gosh!" Astrid said. "I'm so clumsy!"

Back in the present day

Lynda was sitting in her attic, looking through her old photo albums.

"Oh, look at these photos." She said, looking at 50 year old photos of her mother as a toddler with her parents.

50 years earlier.

"My mom was such a cute toddler." Lynda said. "So sad how evil she actually was."

Their old house.

"I miss my grandparents too. There's Grandpa Bernard and Grandma Tiffany." Lynda said. "They were so nice to me. Also, I remember that house."

She suddenly had a memory of her grandparents becoming her guardians after they witnessed her mother abusing her. They treated her better and Lynda lived with them. They moved from Roaring Heights to Riverview which was when she met her best friend Emily "Lily" Williams.

"I wonder how Lily is doing now. I haven't seen her since she moved to Twinbrook..."

Chapter 8: Changing the past

Jean Redfield stood in the time-travel room with Mrs. Hall. Astrid, and Leona walked out of the machine. Jean knew her sisters had snuck here and she was angry.

"LEONA ANNE REDFIELD!! You snuck into Mrs. Hall's house and you used her time machine?" Jean yelled.

"Jean, I can explain! We wanted to go and save Makayla from being kidnapped twelve years ago by her grandma!" Leona replied. "But we accidentally set it back 120 years instead of 12!"

"Oh..." Jean said. "I see, I should have known it was for a good cause. Mrs. Hall, can we please use it?"

"Only if you go with them Jean." Mrs. Hall said. "You're the best scientist in the high school, so you should know how the time continuum works."

"Yes ma'am!" Jean said. "Well, since we got permission, I suppose we can go!"

Suddenly, Jean, Leona, and Astrid were in the past, next to a house called Cornucopia. It was twelve years ago, two minutes before Chelsea kidnapped Makayla.

"Wow... So this is Sunset Valley before we arrived..." Jean said.

"Hey, it's our Myrtle Bungalow house before we moved there. I almost forget what it looked like before we remodeled it." Leona said.

"Oh my gosh..." Jean said, as she saw something she never expected.

"It's... It's the Curtiz family!" Jean said. She saw Mr. And Mrs. Curtiz pushing, Alex Curtiz in a stroller. He was Jean's boyfriend who moved to Roaring Heights in the present time.

"Aw, your baby is so cute." Jean said to Mrs. Curtiz. "Can I hold him?"

"Of course," Mrs. Curtiz said, then Jean held Alex.

"Waaaah! Mama, she's cweepy!" Toddler Alex said.

"Here, have him back" Jean said. "That was mean."

"Well, Mrs. Curtiz always said Alex was troublesome as a toddler." Leona said.

Then, they saw a blue car drive in front of the Myrtle Bungalow.

"It's Chelsea!" Astrid said. "Get her!"

"You will not kidnap Makayla now!" Leona yelled, as she tackled Chelsea.

"Who are you?" Chelsea yelled. "Are you agents from the other side?"

"Maybe, maybe not." Leona said.

"Oh no, the agents are getting me! Retreat! Retreat!" Chelsea ran into her car, then zoomed away.

In the Myrtle Bungalow, Lynda was teaching Makayla how to walk.

"What's going on outside? Probably nothing." Mrs. Burgundy said.

"We did it!" Astrid said. "Yes!"

"Now, Makayla is no longer going to be a bad person!" Jean exclaimed,

"Well, wanna go to the present?" Astrid asked.

"Wait, there's something I wanna do first!" Leona then brought a permanent marker out and wrote "LEONA R. WAS HERE" in small letters on the Myrtle Bungalow house.

"Okay, let's go know. Everything should be great now!" Astrid said. Then, they entered the time machine and went back to the present time.

Present

They were in Mrs. Hall's room, but it was dark.

"Hello, Mrs. Hall? We're done!" Jean yelled.

No answer.

"Maybe she's sleeping, hey Astrid, wanna come to my home now?" Leona asked. "You can meet my family!"

"Sounds good." Astrid agreed.

Outside, Leona called a taxi and they entered it.

"Take us to the Myrtle Bungalow sir!" Leona said

"Sure thing." The taxi driver said.

But as they rode from the Hall residence, they noticed that Sunset Valley looked so different. There was no Mirabello Plaza, no Central Park, no Community School for the Gifted... Instead there were skyscrapers.

"Guys..." Jean said. "I think we changed the timeline!"

"No kidding..." Leona said.

When they got to the Myrtle Bungalow, they noticed that it only had one story, and looked the same as it did twelve years ago. Even the "LEONA R. WAS HERE" remained but it was aged twelve years.

"What happened?" Leona said, as she opened the door. "Let's go inside and figure this whole thing-"

When they entered the house, they saw Makayla and Alex Curtiz sitting on a couch, making out.

"A-ALEX? HOW ARE YOU IN SUNSET VALLEY AGAIN?" Jean yelled. "AND WHY IS MAKAYLA BURGUNDY IN MY HOUSE?"

"What do you mean?" Makayla said. "This isn't your house it's mine."

"UH OH..." Jean just realize... "WE CHANGED THE TIMELINE SO MUCH!"

Chapter 9: Your fault

Jean looked at Alex. He looked so different. He had longer hair with red highlight. He also wore a tank top with skulls on it. She was so surprised; he looked like a punk who always egg people's houses. Jean walked out to the sidewalk.

"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT, LEONA!" Jean yelled, as they walked outside.

"How is it my fault?" Leona asked "I didn't know that things would end up like this!"

"Now we have changed Sunset Valley completely and it's all your fault!" Jean yelled. "We don't even live in our home!"

Suddenly, Leona's cellphone rang.

"Hello?" Leona said.

"Leona, where are you and Jean?" It was Jean's father.

"Oh, uh, we're having... Uh, a sleepover at our friend's house..."

"Oh, okay, well, don't forget; tomorrow you have school at good old SimCity High."

"W-wait, SimCity High?" Leona said, confused.

"well yeah, we live in SimCity." Mr. Redfield said. "Oh, Jocasta is crying now, I better change her diaper."

"Wait, Jocasta?" Leona said confused.

"Yeah, she's your baby sister." He replied.

"Oh right... Uh, bye dad," Leona said. "Well in this timeline we have a baby sister named Jocasta and live in SimCity, Jean."

"What about Alex? He is dating Makayla in this timeline." Jean said. "Why did this happen?"

"I'm so confused too!" Astrid said.

"Well, since the Burgundys never moved out in this timeline, I guess we couldn't find another house here, so... We moved to SimCity." Leona said.

"I just checked my online account, and at least I still live here," Astrid said.

Suddenly, a handsome teenager walked by, and he actually recognized them.

"Leona? Jean? What are doing here?" He said.

"Enrico? You recognize us?"

"Of course, I'd always recognize you. You're my best friend when I lived in Twinbrook."

"Yay! Please, you must take us Mrs. Hall, we changed everything on accident!"

"What? What's happening?" Enrico asked.

"You know Mrs. Hall? She made time machine, we used it, and changed the timeline! Now, I know you probably don't believe me, but-"

"No, I believe you," Enrico said.

"You just believe that without proof?" Astrid said.

"Sure, I know Leona. She never lies." Enrico said. "Plus I always believed time travel could be possible."

Chapter 10: Evil

A woman stood in the city hall, she was the mayor of Sunset Valley. She had fulfilled her dream of becoming the mayor and had completely changing Sunset Valley from suburb to a big city, in this timeline.

Her name was Vita Alto...

Meanwhile, two policewomen were at the police station on patrol.

"Well, Officer Aria, I just got a report of two teenage twin girls are missing and they were seen in this town." Officer Harmony said.

"I see..."

If we catch them, their parents told us to transport them back to their hometown, SimCity." Officer Aria replied.

Leona, Jean, Astrid and Enrico were walking up the steps of the road between Old Pier Beach and where Mirabello Place used to be.

"Oh, I miss Mirabello Plaza..." Leona said, "you know, Enrie, you used to work at a grocery store there in the original timeline..."

"Oh really?" Enrico said. "I wonder if I'm dating anyone."

"..." Leona said nothing.

"Guys... I feel weird..." Jean said. Suddenly, a yellow light enveloped Jean and Leona. When it disappeared, Jean and Leona's clothes were different.

Jean was wearing a red tank top and white shorts, and her glass were red. Leona was wearing bright purple jacket, and a black skirt. Their hair was not in ponytails either.

"Why did your clothes just change?" Astrid asked. "I think this is what you are wearing in this timeline!"

"Of course!" Enrico said, "That's the latest fashion in SimCity too!"

"Oh no," Jean said. "I think our alternate bodies just changed. We're no longer wearing our blue and black dresses. This is bad, soon we could lose our memory of the original timeline!"

"What? I, I don't want to lose memories from then!" Leona said, she loved her memories in Sunset Valley. They were the best seven years of her life.

Suddenly, they all saw someone in the park. It was Darlene, Bella, and Kaylynn, some of Jean and Leona's best friends.

"Oh look! It's Darlene, Kaylynn and Bella!" he said.

"Oh yeah." Enrico said. "They are the lazy girls who never do anything, especially in school."

"That sounds nothing like them in our timeline," Jean said, "we were always doing things together,"

When they walked past the police station, the two policewomen saw the twins walking by. They perfectly matched the description the policewomen had.

"Hey, it's the missing twin girls!" Officer Harmony said, "Let's escort them back to their home now!"

To be continued.
