Music of the Sun is the debut studio album by American recording artist Jeremia Lecato. Music of the Sun is musically an urban reggae-pop album mostly influenced by Lecato's tropical Caribbean roots, and incorporates elements of hip hop, R&B, soul, and as well as Caribbean dancehall music. It also features electronica in "People Falls In Love" and dance-pop in "Super Bass" and "Rock The Boat". Two album arts cover features a beautiful sunset sky that resembles Ashanti's 2003 studio album "Chapter II", and inspired by a musical style of the late 1990s and early 2000s throwback hip hop and R&B music.

Lecato began planning the record in 2024, which his label was renamed from "JL Records" to "Jeremia's Music World". He has released three singles including "Apple Tree", "I Need My Money", and "American Oxygen", and were removed from the final track listing. The efforts resulted in a departure from Lecato's previous party-themed EDM and dance-pop music genres and created a primarily hip hop, R&B, soul, pop and electronica album, with elements of dancehall and hip hop soul. This album features more soulful, experimental, and minimal sound structures.
