Jessica reappeared in Hidden Springs in an updated version of her life story. Her new traits are Snob, Over-emotional, and Schmoozer, while she retains her Ambitious and Virtuoso traits. Her Lifetime Wish changed from CEO of a Mega-Corporation to Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous. She has visions of grandeur about herself, and believes it is her destiny to become a household name.
Young Adulthood and relationship with Sebastian Vanderburg
Jessica Jacobs begins her life in Hidden Springs, SimNation. Shortly after arriving to her new home she saw a limousine carrying the royal Vanderburg family drive by. This started an infatuation with the royal family, and Jessica began researching each individual member in order to learn their hobbies and grow closer to them.

Shortly after her arrival to Hidden Springs, Jessica began a quiet relationship with Prince Sebastian, whom she had coincidentally met the local library at a chance run-in. At the time, he was second in line to the SimNationion throne; his mother is Catarina Vanderburg, Queen of SimNation. The queen was initially reported to be very impressed with the young Jessica and hoped that her (Jessica's) youth and media-savvy would breathe new life into the reputation of the monarchy.

Jessica became very close to the Queen; she had unrestricted access to the Vanderburg Home, and frequently advised the Queen on political and social matters. She also helped update the Queen's wardrobe, which temporarily increased the public opinion of both Jessica and the Queen herself. Public opinion turned negative, however, when it was revealed that taxpayers funds partially paid for the queens expensive clothing, and that Jessica also received thousands of dollars worth of new clothes on that taxpayers dime.

Jessica was then put in charge of a massive restoration of the Vanderburg that winter. The royal family was reported to have hated the finished results of the restoration effort so much that they canceled the scheduled televised tour of the home that was to take place the following spring. Although the restoration was not paid for directly by taxpayers, critics argued that a massive restoration of the royal home during a recession proved how out of touch the royal family had become, and calls for the monarchy to be abolished greatly increased.
