The Lawlor family originally consisted of Victor Lawlor, his wife Beth Lawlor, and their children Ella Lawlor and Danny Lawlor. Following Victor's affair with Ulrike Faust, he was kicked out of the house and Beth adopted three more children: Sheru Lawlor, Tom Lawlor, Nemo Lawlor.

Beth and Victor's son, Danny, later moved out of the home in Willow Creek and married Evie Delgato. The two purchased a home in Oasis Springs and had two children together: Molly Lawlor and Louie Lawlor.

Victor: Roman name meaning "victor, conqueror".
Beth: Short form of 'Elizabeth', meaning "my God is an oath".
