Madison's relationship with Sebastian Plumb led to the birth of their daughter, [[Fanon:Kaydence Westley-Plumb|Kaydence]]. She and Sebastian wanted a musical name for their daughter, and she chose a variation of the musical word-name ''Cadence''. She also chose the middle name of 'Michele' to honor her mother and manager, Michele Guyton.

"As soon as she came out with that dark tuft of hair," Madison told a friend, referring to Kaydence, "I knew Sebastian was the father."

Madison and Kaydence have an interesting relationship. At first Madison tried to make Kaydence into a miniature version of herself, dressing her up in revealing clothes and putting a lot of makeup on her. But as Kaydence got older, her nativity as a Plumb became clearer. Kaydence's intelligence shocked Madison, who told one magazine, "It's like living with a miniature professor." Madison was flummoxed when Kaydence refused her expensive custom-made dollhouses and instead preferred to read, and insisted on bringing books with her on trips instead of dolls and teddy bears. Kaydence didn't watch cartoons like other children - instead she watched the History Channel. At the age of eight, Kaydence asked for a chess table and a chemistry set. Madison refused both requests.
