He is the leader of the Heraldry of Machines household, and also one of the most avid ~~supporter~~ally of the Ecclesiarchal Machine Cult. His household is also not unlike the Hugo's Orphanage, as the other members are taken from survivors of the Anti-Greek violence in Trapezous, and Lyra is an orphan as well. Nikanor is a victim of the right-wing violence at Trabzon/Trapezous along with his followers. As such, Nikanor finds appeal in the [[wikipedia:Paradox of tolerance\|anti-right-wing rhetorics]] of the Ecclesiarchy. As noted, the dominance of transhumanism in the Big 6 makes Nikanor all too compatible with the Big 6, and although Nikanor chooses to be independent, he is open to cooperation.
