Nikanor Trapezountios
Biography
'Nikanor's life before his transformation would be very similar to Kallisto, both finding a huge affinity for automation and invention. Nikanor would benefit from the latter, given that the Papal State under the latter's leadership decided to sponsor the new Phrontisterion of Trapezous, where he lived. Given the Big 6's tendencies, Nikanor would benefit from the new college with its focus on technology, but right-wing rhetorics came in, and a Turkish mob attacked the Greek Phrontisterion, leaving him and many Greeks wounded. Nikanor would use his knowledge to mechanize himself, while providing the few survivors with prosthetics while preaching the gospel of mechanization. He went to the place that would be most likely to listen to his gospel, to the capital of the group that allowed him his dreams in the first place.'
Nikanor Trapezountios, born December 29, 1988 on Trapezous (Trabzon), is a Sim(bot) to be featured on the Hekatonschoinos remake. He is the leader of the Heraldry of Machines household, and also one of the most avid ally of the Ecclesiarchal Machine Cult. His household is also not unlike the Hugo's Orphanage, as the other members are taken from survivors of the Anti-Greek violence in Trapezous, and Lyra is an orphan as well.
Nikanor is a victim of the right-wing violence at Trabzon/Trapezous along with his followers. As such, Nikanor finds appeal in the anti-right-wing rhetorics of the Ecclesiarchy. As noted, the dominance of transhumanism in the Big 6 makes Nikanor all too compatible with the Big 6, and although Nikanor chooses to be independent, he is open to cooperation. As a former Greek resident of Turkish Anatolia, Nikanor is also a symbolic figure in Greek resistance in Anatolian regions, some of them of the irredentist right, others of the left, and still others (albeit the fewest) of the transhumanist flavor Nikanor approves.
Nikanor's concept is heavily influenced by League of Legends champion Viktor, the Machine Herald. His name is intended, as Nikanor is based off the word Nike, meaning Victory, as Viktor is an alternate form of the name Victor, which is as noted is from Latin victor, meaning conqueror. TO VIKTORY!
