Opal originally resided in [[sims:Moonlight_Falls|Moonlight Falls]] with her ex-boyfriend, Rick Swanson. She soon dumped Rick and moved out after he cheated on her. She then packed up and moved to Simsville, and met Larry. The two soon started dating and fell in love. Their first child, Heidi, was born a little over a year after their wedding.
