Her stories in The Sims 2 and 3 mostly focused on her adjusting to life as the spouse of two very different men, and the Sims 3 sees her fulfilling her wish to become a good mother. In both The Sims

*Ophera was the second major sim to die before reaching Elder status, the first being Thatcher's mother, Diana.
*Like Thatcher and Ronald, Ophera had a Sims 2 counterpart in 2012 before her appearance in The Sims 3. In that version she and Thatcher dated as teens, but then married Ronald as an adult, thus creating the animosity between Thatcher and Ronald. In both versions of the story Ophera is Thatcher's third spouse and dies before becoming an elder.

*Ophera is already much more involved in the Sims 4 story than she was in Sims 2 and 3. In the Sims 2 she was practically a background character, despite being the only constant woman involved in Thatcher and Ronald's stories. The Sims 3 saw her role in stories increase a little, but her personality was even more drained than it had been before and she was mostly a "Mary-Sue" type character. The Sims 4 Ophera is not nearly as passive as her previous versions have been, although she does stay with Ronald after he admits to cheating on her.
*Ophera is the only Sim to stay in the same type of career field in all three versions. She joined Law Enforcement in The Sims 2 and 3 (reaching the top in both games), and joined the Special Agent field in Sims 4.
