Have you ever wondered what it would be like if the base game Sims all lived in one neighborhood instead of 3 and kept their lives going? Me too! That's why we're here: in Pleasant Strangeville!
Sims 2 version[edit | edit source]
In a custom neighborhood where all the Pleasantview, Strangetown, and Veronaville Sims all are,[1] with the return of certain deceased Sims, such as Cordelia Capp and Michael Bachelor. [2]

The way this iteration goes is that most of the love connections [3] have somehow managed to supply a child between them that skews the family trees. Another quirk is that some of the households have recently deceased Sims resurrected in them. Here is the full list of changes/quirks:
Pleasantview[edit | edit source]
Goth[edit | edit source]
- Bella has returned from being abducted by the aliens (it is implied in the bio that the Strangetown residents helped negotiate to get her back [4]) and lives with her family.
- Don got married to Cassandra, but still tries to sneak behind her back to the other women.
- Cassandra is currently pregnant, as is Bella.
Pleasant[edit | edit source]
- Mary Sue has paid Daniel some more attention. They now have a baby son.
- Angela and Lilith are no longer enemies.
- Herb and Coral have moved in with them.
Broke[edit | edit source]
- Skip has been resurrected. He and Brandi are currently raising their third son along with their other two.
- Dustin does not act out anymore.
Dreamer[edit | edit source]
- Darleen has been resurrected, but Darren still thinks of Cassandra.
Caliente[edit | edit source]
- Michael has been resurrected, but Dina still thinks of Mortimer and Don. She is currently raising the toddler son she had with Michael, the twins she had with Don (Michael knows, Mortimer doesn't), all while worrying about the one on the way from Mortimer.
- Nina still sees Don from time to time, but now she knows about the marriage. She is determined at all costs to try breaking it. For this reason, she harbors ill feelings toward Cassandra.

- John and Jennifer are expecting their next child. Lucy is very close to Alexander, implying that they will date when they are both teens.

Curious/Smith[edit | edit source]
- Pascal, Vidcund, and Lazlo have accepted Kaylynn into their home. She has chosen to marry Vidcund (despite the heartbreaker hinting in the family bio). Kaylynn has had a daughter with Daniel, and twin ones with Don (though their skin color is very unnatural) before marrying him happily (thought she still thinks of the other men). Pascal also has Tycho and an older daughter from encounters with the aliens.
- Nothing new is really happening on the Smith front.
- The relations that Maxis left out are fixed.
Grunt[edit | edit source]
- Lyla has been resurrected, but she and Buzz have not remarried. They have had their first daughter in their family. Tank and Ripp are determined to protect her from boot camp when she grows up, but Buck is the only one who dislikes her. The latter is also close to Jill, implying they will date when they are teens.
Specter[edit | edit source]
- Ichabod has been resurrected. He and Olive are still married.
- A good amount of the graves are gone due to the Sims in them being resurrected and fixed. Ophelia worries a lot about it.
Singles[edit | edit source]
- All four girls still live together, but are pursuing relationships with random townies, despite thair family bio.
Beaker[edit | edit source]
- Loki and Circe have has twins of their own. Nervous is trying to save them from his fate. Atom and Ceres have been incorporated.

- Nothing much changed on Ajay's front.

- Contessa, Cordelia, and Caliban have been resurrected. They live on the lot with Consort, Tybalt, Hermia, and Juliette.
- Goneril and Albany have another child. Miranda is dating Mercutio.

- Claudio and Olivia have been resurrected. They had their third child and live with Patrizio, Isabella, Mercutio and Romeo.
- Bianca moved in with Antonio and his twins since Hero couldn't be resurrected.
Summerdream[edit | edit source]
- Oberon and Titania have adopted another son, and by some miracle had another one of their very own. Puck is dating Hermia and Bottom has taken up random hobbies to be less bratty.
Sims 3 version[edit | edit source]
In this version, they are more or less more accurate to where they left off, so it takes place slightly before the Sims 2 one. The Veronaville citizens live in the Alto and Landgraab houses as well as the three houses united by a pool, the Strangetown citizens live closer to Kaylynn and Agnes's old houses, and the Pleasantview citizens are right in the middle near the cheap houses.

Bella has been returned by the aliens thanks to some of the Strangetown residents, and Mortimer and Alexander couldn't be happier. Meanwhile, Don wonders how long it will take Cassandra to notice all his side lovers... and the "surprises" he left behind with them.

Michael's back - and Dina's not sure how she feels about that. Meanwhile, Nina feels that her love life is slowly dwindling to nothing... will she try to get Don away from Cassandra or pursue someone single?

The Curious brothers have recently moved in with the lovely Kaylynn Langerak. Will any of them manage to steal her heart or will she break all of theirs first?

- ↑ The way this was achieved was by packaging all the Sims from each neighborhood into one lot (three total), package the lot, download it, and move it into the custom town. None of them had interacted with anyone outside those households as they were not played. This way, they keep all their relations and memories and the game is not corrupted.
- ↑ The "I Am Dead" tokens these Sims possessed were removed with SimPE, and their ghost flags were unticked. Hero Monty is the exception, as her files are not easily found in game even with the aforementioned happening.
- ↑ Vidcund-Circe and Cassandra-Darren are not included in this rule, as they are both one sided. The Veronaville Sims are also exempt from this rule, following the normal "married only" rules.
- ↑ It could either be PT#9 and Johnny, seeing as they are the actual aliens, or the Curious brothers, since they can summon them.
