|name = Queen Jane (née Richard)

== Marriage ==
Jane and Vladimir married when they were 20. Jane fell pregnant at the start of the story, and gave birth to a son, Arthur, named after Vladimir's father. Jane's marriage was relatively good, except when Jane was 35 and fell pregnant, and miscarried, causing problems in Vladimir and Jane's marriage.

== Kingdom ==
Riverland, Queen Jane's kingdom, is a friendly kingdom located next to Tredony and Crafthole. It was founded by King John I and his wife Queen Beth (née Goth). Beth was a Goth, ancestor of Mortimer Goth, making Jane (maritally) and Vladimir (biologically) distant cousins of the Goths. John named the kingdom after his aunt, Princess River. The kingdom also has a giant river running through it, leading its citizens to believe that was the reason Riverland was named Riverland. Riverland prospered from its start, eventually becoming economically better than all of the kingdoms surrounding it. Riverland's most famous monarch was Queen Mabel, a marital member of the familyn and a former [[Peteran Priest]]. Mabel was the first monarch in Riverland's history to divorce. Her husband King Louis died shortly afterward, and he had no living relatives left, so Mabel stayed Queen.

== Death ==
Jane died during a duel to the death with childhood enemy William Fleming. After Jane's death, William was arrested and kept in the stocks for 3 days. After that, Vladimir realized the stocks wasn't a good enough punishment for him, so Vladimir built a prison with his inheritance from Jane, naming it Queen Jane's Prison of Riverland. William was kept there for 6 months. Jane was buried in the Kingdom's only graveyard, Queen Mabel's Cemetery of Riverland, on a hill where 14 generations of the royal family were buried.
