Rose was the wife of the late Alec Langford and the mother of Adrian and Maureen Langford. She drowned along with her husband when her children were at college.

Adulthood

As an adult, Rose met Alec at work and they got on well immediately. However, he had trouble making the first move so Rose stepped up and sent him some coffee with her phone number on and when he looked over at her, mouthed 'Call me'. He did immediately and they arranged a date. However, a month after they started dating, she became pregnant but this didn't bother the couple. They just arranged to marry so the baby wouldn't be illegitimate. They had a great wedding and Rose gave birth to Adrian a week after they had their honeymoon.
