Simis was son of Milton and Enriqueta Bachelor. He was once enrolled in Sims University, taking Communication Degree and living in dormitory. Between his third and second years, Simis met and befriend his junior, John Redfield, sharing room with him, and often pulling pranks on each other.

Simis' last meeting with John was when he came to Twinbrook, attending his friend's wedding. They didn't meet again until John contacted him, told him that the Redfields would moved to Sunset Valley soon.
