The van Olienjes are a family of four living in Moonlight Falls.

Members

Leopold

Leopold is a loving father to two children and enjoys playing with them. A savvy businessman, Leopold enjoys tinkering with electronic items and experimenting with chemicals, despite his wife's fears. Leopold has passed many of his traits on to his son, Christiaan.

Catherine-Emilia

The fit mother of two tends to be somewhat gruff at times; however, Catherine-Emilia has a soft spot for her husband and kids. The sportswoman likes to ski and play catch with her son, although she does tend to gravitate over to more ladylike activities from time to time.

Christiaan

Christiaan is the family's child prodigy, being a musician, chess master and scientist all wrapped up in one. Christiaan likes to play and read to his little sister, Alexandrina, and is a loving brother. He also participates in the local scouts program, and consistently gets into the honour roll. He seems quite ready for the challenges of adulthood, despite being only nine!

Alexandrina

The baby of the family, Alexandrina likes nothing better than sitting on the floor giggling to herself, playing with her toys and/or snoozing. She also loves attention, crying to get her way whenever possible. Her parents are trying hard to get her out of that nasty habit by teaching the little tot how to talk. Nobody knows how long that will take...
