Sometimes you may notice that some (or all) of your tombstones have disappeared.

Tombstones do not dissapear in The Sims.

I currently do not know why tombstones on home lots dissapear. Sending graves to community lots can somtimes give the game troubles after installing pets. There are methods of getting them back but it takes intense effort. Certain theories state that if the community lot is a business it may solve the problem, but selling it back has horrid results. Here is a tutorial. http://community.livejournal.com/pixel_trade/26093.html You don't need the Merola's Mind Control Mirror as the "control" feature can be used with the Tombstone of L and D. I also noticed when entering the Goth's lot in the cemetary there were now untrimmed rose bushes, weeds, and bills half buried in the ground in the small graveyard.
