Hi and I have a few questions about the templates for Fanon pages. I known that the {{Fanon-uc}} is for under construction pages for fanon but is there any specific templates that we should be using for fanon? I mean Sim Bio, episode infobox, or anything that we are allowed to use for our fanon pages besides Fanon:Name of fanon specifications? MrsCrumplebottom 00:23, May 23, 2011 (UTC)

Ok, I'll give you a run-down of the fanon templates that are used.

{{evolve}} should be put on fanon pages that are still being developed and played out in the game of the user, or the user is still working out what to do with the page.

{{fanon-uc}} means the page is under construction.

{{Fanon-cleanup}} is used by fanon admins to mark a fanon page as of poor quality, and telling the owner to clean it up.

{{fanon-delete}} is used to notify fanon admins the page is a candidate for deletion, generally for reasons such as being empty without {{fanon-uc}}. Not all pages with it will be deleted, that's up to the admins. But, as a rule, pages with extreme profanity, explicit conent, etc are deleted IMMEDIATELY.

{{Adult}} is appended to a page if the author feels it might not be suitable for all audiences, although it's not violating any policies.

As well as that, there is templates for things like the sim bios and chapter templates.The sim template varies depending on the game, but the same one as which is used in the main namespace is used. Remember there is Sim3 and Sim2, which are for different games.

The chapter template uses this code:

{{Fan fiction
|image= [[File:<image>.jpg|<size in pixels>]]
|name=<name>
|genre= <genre>
|creator=<author>
|rating=<rating - what audience the author thinks it's appropriate for>
|numberofchapters=<number of chapters>
}}

Likewise, the chapter template uses a different form, but is still similar.

{{Chapter
|name = <name>
|image = <image>
|series = <series it is in>
|writer = <author>
|release = <date of writing>
|previous = <previous chapter>
|next = <next chapter>
}}

If you don't fill in one of the parameters, it will just be omitted from the table.

Finally, use {{property|<<user name>>}} to mark it as being owned by you.

I hope I've covered everything, feel free to ask me or another user for more help if you need it! :) --WH (Talk) 07:22, May 23, 2011 (UTC)

Ello again, I would like to know thisBEFORE doing the action and that is creating fanon related templates like family templates or fanon show templates here at The Sims Wiki and I would like to know this. MrsCrumplebottom 21:53, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

I don't know what you are referring to, as it appears to be redlinked. --WH (Talk)
