Forum:Formal Request To Amend Merger Options
I think, my honest thoughts here, that The Sims Fanon Wiki and Sims Daily Planet Wiki are most-in-likely be a better merger than The Sims Wiki and The Sims Fanon Wiki. Since my wiki is encyclopedic (like The Sims Wiki) and a fanon (like The Sims Fanon Wiki), so, I am asking you to have another public vote here and over at The Sims Wiki's to see if this could (/ can) be sorted out properly. I have made my views noted over here at The Sims Wiki and I, along with my follow administrators; which I have emailed off-site about this, and we are in an agreement that The Sims Fanon Wiki and Sims Daily Planet Wiki should be merged into one place. I can talk to other administrators about adding more staff to off-set the upcoming merger; if that happens. I have tried to convince The Sims Wikis' administrators to make Sims Daily Planet Wiki as the main hybrid (encyclopedic-fanon) wiki-site. I would like to pursue the option to pick-up this wikis' overall needs like templates, categories, articles, and the rest of the wikis' has. I for one, like to have this merger comes to us rather to The Sim Wiki site. No disrespect and all that, but, I'm just giving you the honest truth. Please let me know if the vote could be restarted to have my wiki be an option rather than what we have going on now. Just speaking my mind. - Go ahead and propose this on the Community Portal talk page. Keep in mind though that at this stage, the discussion has evolved from a proposal to merge with the Fanon Wiki, to a proposal to create a Fanon namespace here and leave the Fanon wiki alone. -- LostInRiverview talk · blog 20:29, December 31, 2010 (UTC)
