Hey,

So from looking in Special:WikiFeatures, I've noticed there is a tool known as "Game Guides Content", which allows us to customise the content that appears in a mobile application provided by Wikia. Despite not being listed on the page, I've been told that TSW is featured via that application.

Seeing as of late we've been focusing our efforts towards expanding our audience, I'd like to know what everyone thinks about activating this tool here. As a wiki, our goal is to provide information about The Sims series and this application allows us to do just that in a more expansive way, which is why I don't see any harm in activating it.

It basically gives information from the wiki in the form of a guide. We can customise it by enabling the "Game Guides Content" feature, which is what this forum is proposing we do. :) Lost Labyrinth • (c) • (b) 17:19, November 20, 2012 (UTC)

I'm not a mobile web user, but I do know that mobile web use is on the rise. Being useful for that group of visitors is a really good idea. So I'm in favor of this. -- LiR ^{speak ~ read} 19:45, November 21, 2012 (UTC)

I guess it can be applied as long as someone can manage it. The way I see it, it's just some sort of a simple mobile navigation? If so, it wouldn't be much of a hassle to use it, I suppose... Nikel _{Talk – Vote!} 11:58, November 26, 2012 (UTC)

Conclusion

Closed - Upon checking this thread and noticing that it's pretty much dead, I was going to enable the feature as the response was positive. Unfortunately upon looking at Special:WikiFeatures, it seems that Wikia have removed the feature from the listing and the associated Special page is unusable, meaning at this point in time this discussion will not achieve anything. As with any topic, this can be revisited should Wikia reapply the feature for local testing. Lost Labyrinth • (c) • (b) 17:38, November 30, 2012 (UTC)
