Forum:Help Family Tree is Stuffing up
Hey Guys, Sorry to be a Pain...:(
I have been playing Sims 2 on the PC for a while now and have a 5 generational family tree going with the Pleasant family of Pleasantview. I have Installed University, Downtown, Pets and Business and began playing again to continue on the family tree....and recently I have discovered that the 5 generation and eldest child of the Pleasantview family is no longer attached to the family tree, and along with his children have become attached to the Simovitch family tree instead....
The Tree goes.... -Les Pleasant + Kynda Plesant = Jeff Pleasant -Jeff Pleasant + Diane Danders = Daniel Pleasant -Daniel Pleasant + Dina Catalina = Darcy Pleasant -Darcy Pleasant + Diana Goth = Austin -Austin Pleasant + Contessa Goth = Nevaeh Goth
The Tree separates at Darcy Pleasant + Diana Goth = Austin
Austin has now become the child of Fatima Simovitch...The Mother of Betty Newbie (Austin has become the half brother of Betty newbie and the uncle of Brandi Broke)
This is not the first time this has happened in the game....I recently created a Sim called Drake Howard....and some how miraculously he has become the biological father of Christopher Curious...(Son of Pascal Curious and the unknown Alien)instead of the Alien...All in the family tree...however unlike Drake situations Austin's Memorys are not affected he is just not connected to the Pleasant Family in anyway....Where as Drake has memorys of being the father of Christopher (Pascal's Son)
I was just wondering why this has occured I don't really care about Drake but I would really like to fix Austin up...is there anyone who has had this happen to them and can they help me fix it please...i really like the family tree aspect of Sims 2 and I don't want to have to reset my game as I have been playing it for about a year on and off....So please I would really like the help....Also could it have something to do with the fact that I leave (boolprop testingcheatsenabled true) on....and use (maxmotives) and (motherlode) oh and (familyfunds)... Do you have SimPE ? You can fix it with SimPE editing their family tree. this is the link to download [1], when the download is finished open SimPE go to tools> neighborhood> then open Pleasantview and go to the box resource tree and open family ties there you can you edit you're family relationships.

This is the Family they have 3 other son but they are all still connected Austin and his kids are not though
