:I think it depends on how much of a hardcore fan you are if your willing to throw away so much cash. I like Katy Perry but there is no way in heck would I buy that crud. I have my standards as a fan, if I was a hardcore one I still wouldn't pay much money for the stuff pack. I couldn't decide whether or not to put it in Central Park as it does touch on a few things related to a specific stuff pack but I'll post it in the off-topic forum anyway.

A not-so-wonderful idea by EA seems to be targeted at hardcore Katy Perry fans who'll buy whatever worthless product with her name on it. For EA, they see this as profit. But the thing I'm wondering is, do any of the players actually like Katy Perry or her music?

I personally don't mind her music so much as it's catchy but to base a whole stuff pack around her is as useful as buying an iMac and replacing the OS with Windows - it's pretty stupid. There's nothing wrong with EA experimenting with things trying to aim a product at a younger target audience rather than moving on with the current fanbase but they should really try and find a better approach to it. After all, having Katy Perry everywhere in Sunset Valley would be as irritating as Justin Bieber becoming my neighbor. If I wanted to have Katy Perry's music in my game, I'd set up a custom playlist for the game to access.
