Forums: IndexHelp deskHow to extract Sim emotion portraits? | Post

I noticed as I was browsing through the forums that someone had a complete showing and list of their sim with all of the emotional portraits in the game.

Anyone know how to extract these portraits? I want to do the same, but with my sim instead. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mateoski (talkcontribs) 03:51, July 31, 2017‎ (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

I assumed this was just a hell of a Photoshop work, making sure your background is white and just screenshot away. Not sure though. DeSims (talk) 15:40, July 31, 2017 (UTC)
Use the file localthumbcache.package located in your sims 4 folder and open via The Sims 4 Studio program. Just drag it to the icon and try to seek for the emotions your sim had. Im sure you will figure out the rest :D Streetwize (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 17:12, October 21, 2017‎ (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

Okay, so I've somewhat got the hang of the portraits, but the only thing is, I'm still trying to figure out how I get the colors/layers for each corresponding emotion, as well as the word itself for each emotion.

Like how Happy has a green overlay and says "Happy" with it's corresponding portrait.

How do I do that? Mateoski (talk) 06:04, November 21, 2017 (UTC)

Since I couldn't find the way too, I made it by myself. I still have the file and I can share with you my template, find me on Twitter @RipplySaucer7 Streetwize (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 09:51, November 21, 2017‎ (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

Alright, I tweeted to you. Thank you for the help.

By the way, I'm not sure if you're able to still edit your template or if I am able to, but I feel I should point out that Enraged is misspelled. Mateoski (talk) 07:23, November 22, 2017 (UTC)
