In Sims 3, I got flirty with a neighbor while my wife was at work. My toddler was upstairs in his room, but he apparently knew somehow and strongly disliked me ever since then. No matter what I did he still disliked me after that, even after he aged up to a child. I eventually lost my patience and declared him a nemesis. I'm regretting that now, and was wondering if a relationship can be salvaged once it's at that point. I've been really nice to him ever since then, but our relationship isn't improving. So now I'm living with an enemy, which affects both our moods when we're around each other! Any advice?

  1. Open the cheat box by typing in Ctrl Shift C
  2. Type in testingcheatsenabled true and press enter
  3. Go to relationships panel
  4. See where it's red? Click on it and drag it to where it's green (You can actually make them best friend by dragging it to the end)
  5. (Optional) Type in testingcheatsenabled false

You can do it without cheats by leaving the child alone until your relationship reaches 0. Then, you can become friends normally

Additionally, you can do this without cheats by having father and son participate in activites together. For example, I had a father/son pair in a similar situation, and I had them play chess together to improve their relationship. It takes a long time to do this, but it's faster than just letting the relationship return to 0 (which it will eventually), and it doesn't involve cheating. Hope this helps! --LostInRiverview 20:06, May 25, 2010 (UTC)
