Forum:Installing Expansion Packs
I'm going to install Generations, but I just want to know if I will need to start a new town for it to update my town that I have a save file in. What I mean is, I have a save file of CAS sims in Bridgeport, and if I don't save them to the bin to start a new game, does the game not automatically add a day care center?

you dont need to start another town. when you install the new generation expansion pack, the game will update your save data. there is no new day care center building. the new building on generation is only few residential lot and 1 new park. day care career is similar like profession on ambition and you will work at home when select this career path. but i will give you a tips, always backup your save data, your cas sim, and your household before install new expansion pack. for the backup if there something wrong happen. i hope this can help. :D --Wir.wiryawan 02:40, July 13, 2011 (UTC)
