I have a urgent question for you. Roughly eight weeks ago, I got The Sims 3: Into The Future as a gift. I quickly installed it and started a new save game to go into the future. Anyway, about two weeks ago, I noticed that there was a severe glitch in the save game. Here's what happened: My sim Ivy was sleeping in her dream pod, and I noticed that she was gone, except the blue veil-thing was still up. I double-clicked on her portrait to see where she was, and it showed me the location of the dream pod. I told her to go to a spot on the floor nearby, except she didn't move from the dream pod. I clicked the floor again, and this time, she somehow appeared at the spot at had told her to go to. She was standing up, and the blue veil-thing on the dream pod was still there. I clicked another spot next to where she was currently, and told her to go there. She promptly disappeared. Clicking the same spot, I told her to walk there. Ivy then reappeared. I repeated this a few more times to see what was happening, but then I noticed something else. The game said her son, Nano was in his crib, but he was gone. The "zzz" effect was still there, except he wasn't. Even though he was a toddler, I told him to go to a place on the ground. He appeared there, sitting down. I told him to go to a few other places nearby, except he disappeared and reappeared like Ivy had just done. I saved and quit the game immediately after that. Just a note, there has been minor glitches in this save game, and only this one. These glitches are ranging from sims beginning to WooHoo and then teleporting out to the floor next to the bed (dream pod in this case) to sims getting stuck through couches, to small things like sound missing from sims celebrating another sim age up. Also, today I went back on this save game and for some reason, Ivy was gone. Everyone's memories of her were intact, except she had disappeared from the family tree, and was not in anyone's relationship panel. - It seems that your glitch is so severe. I can't help much because your game seems to be acting up badly, but you could try to troubleshoot the problem. Do you have any mods installed? Have you tried resetting the Sims by using the resetSim cheat? Nikel Talk – Vote! 15:17, December 23, 2014 (UTC)
- No, I don't have any mods or custom content installed. I did try resetting Ivy and Nano, except nothing fixed them. I played around with them a bit more, and everything was fine, except that Ivy's disappearance messed up the entire family. What I mean by that is that now no one is related to each other. Like, for example, one of Ivy's daughters, Jade, was not connected to her in the family tree. It only showed her deceased father. Now it claims that all three of Ivy's kids are not related to each other, their (step) father, and their two plumbots.75.165.73.117 (talk) 00:45, December 25, 2014 (UTC)
