I think that Kaylynn Langerak should be named Kathrine Langerak. Because Kaylynn doesn't sound logical at all while Kathrine sounds logical. So what do you think?

Kaylynn is perfectly logical she does not look like a Kathrine besides i'd rather name her girl Kay than Kathy. i mean Kathrine is just bleh on her. i agree kaylynn is not all that wonderful, but still... kaylynn beats Kathrine. if i have twin girls i will name them Kay and Lynn... If you a female sim Kathrine, then she could get the nickname Kate.

Kathrine Langerak sounds... strange. I prefer Kaylynn because Langerak isn't a surname I'd pick for sims, but Kathrine is a name I'd give to my sim. There is no reason. It just sounds better. The question is, what's the nickname for Kaylynn? |_Andronikos Leventis Talk 18:21, January 28, 2011 (UTC)

The nickname for Kaylynn is Kay

Both Kaylynn and kathrine are the same name (variants of Katerina) but in different languages/countries

So I think that calling her Kaylynn Langerak sounds like she was born in the USA or Australia

While naming her Kathrine Langerak sounds like she was born in Scandinavia

So yes both names are logical it’s just a diff country of birth

Fantasy names: Caliborn, Nabis, Goladesia, Rospimgerm, Sivadzeti,

WTF: @x@, TaSDAR, TARDIS,

so basically I've been naming them mostly after words, not just dictionary words but also place names, and some of those names I think almost nobody else would use even for a berry sweet sim.

Most of those names have no story behind them, is just the first thing that came to my mind. Like "Ooh! I'd like to go to the Caucasus! I'm naming those sims saKartvelo and Hayastan!"

Sometimes I invent a storyline, like once I had a couple fan of the Caucasus, they are Julip Onvert and Tunis Adelante. So basically, Tunis has twin girls. Tunis says that if she has to name her daughters after countries it needs to be the endonym. So is born saKartvelo and Hayastan Onvert instead of Georgia and Armenia Onvert. --Aele Shizuna Tralsicaa (talk) 22:20, February 9, 2019 (UTC)
