Hi and this has came up with Fanon Policy and Merge between the two The Sims Wikis (The Sims Wiki main site and The Sims Fanon Wiki respectively) and I have noticed that the consensus has not formally complete yet on The Sims Fanon Wiki with the last edit pertaining to the consensus vote was a year ago in August of 2012 with few votes for the merge and one strong against citing the fact that this one vote against user states that he/she claims that merging the two wikis will upmost distroy this particular user. As noted earlier today with my spelling in the open chat, I have to agree but I suffer from a liget dyslexia which is spelling visual disorder. Not making an excuse for myself or this user. I am in strong agreement that either The Sims Wiki or The SIms Project Wiki will suit the two but since The Sims Wiki claimed the initial merger proposal I don't mind the main The Sims wiki getting the created since as noted that The Sims Wiki has more visitors and edits per month than my Sims wiki. So, whomever is the lead administrator or administrators on The Sims Wiki and The Sims Fanon Wiki should make the final clearance to close or do something for this merger since it is cleared (by The Sims Wiki side not on Fanon side) to merge. Thanks. Please see The Sims Fanon Wiki Community Portal for full details on the holdup or make comments. Discussion[edit source]

This issue has been dead in the water for some time. The Sims Wiki's fanon namespace is well-established, and there is no need for a formal merger with The Sims Fanon Wiki or others. People with works on the Fanon Wiki are welcome to move their stories over to our fanon namespace. Additionally, it is difficult to convince Wikia Staff to close down a wiki without clear community consent to the affirmative, and since The Sims Fanon Wiki lacks a community, that would make this entire discussion a moot point. Ditto for the "Sims Project Wiki", which seems to have very few active contributors.

By the way, we do not have a "lead administrator" - decisions are reached by consensus. But I can say with confidence that a proposal to merge TSW and the Fanon Wiki will gain no traction here, for exactly the reasons I've specified. -- LostInRiverview talk ~ blog 00:52, September 5, 2013 (UTC)

The proposal to merge the two wikis died 2 years ago - I can't see it magically rejuvenating now. Furthermore, The Sims Fanon Wiki itself is close enough to dead; there's no active community to support/oppose any attempt to restart a merge discussion. There's no way Wikia can just merge two wikis without both parties agreeing to it and as there is literally nobody on their end to support such a measure, it's probably safe to assume you can kiss that idea goodbye.
