I think users shouldn't have the ability to edit other people's pages. That could lead to very bad situations! I know this probably doesn't matter much to you guys, but I just thought I'd point it out. --Simrose101 19:23, February 7, 2011 (UTC)

This principle is already a pretty well-accepted community guideline. Due to the limitations of Wiki software, it's impossible to prevent other users from editing a userpage without manually locking the page, so making a rule about it is really all that can be done. -- LostInRiverview ^{talk · blog} 21:22, February 7, 2011 (UTC)

If you don't want anyone else to edit your userpage, you could leave a notice saying that they shouldn't edit the page unless they're reverting vandalism or something like that. GG (t) • (c) • (b) 21:26, February 7, 2011 (UTC)
