I guess I should give a voice as I the one started and by name is behind all these quotes. I thought to use these as a cherry top, just like how other video game wiki uses this to describe their features in the very top. "Our other content articles don't include in-game quotes in the body of the article" they will though, when I go around making them. I'm honestly neutral on this, so there's not much I can add, agree or disagree on with you. They should definitely be removed, in light of DrakonoSkerdikas' exceedingly poor judgement in handling them with their edit warring behavior on the [https://sims.fandom.com/index.php?title=Fun&action=history&year=2019&month=3&tagfilter= Fun] article. When they were told they should only use one quote from one game, they threw a tantrum by insisting that there be no quotes at all and then edit warred with an admin to keep it off. Honestly, if we have editors like this, only two things come to mind: we deal with the editors, or we deal with the articles. If the community is not in the mood to apply sanctions to an editor, then we deal with the articles. It appears that descriptive quotes have been added to the various articles about in-game motives - pages like bladder, fun, comfort, and so on. Honestly, I'm not a fan of the concept. It seems to be pretty redundant, considering the lede of each article is meant to summarize and describe the subject of the article. As far as I'm aware, our other content articles don't include in-game quotes in the body of the article, much less placed ahead of the lede. I'm proposing that the aforementioned quotes be removed from the articles. -- LostInRiverview talk · blog · contribs 06:04, March 31, 2019 (UTC)
