Forum:Whts better The Sims 3 or Grand Theft Auto IV

- To be honest, they're both incomparable. The only thing they have in common is the open world. Admittedly, I do wish that TS3 was a little bit more like GTA in terms of freedom but not over the top, such as criminals being able to steal cars but not kill other Sims and police being able to arrest other Sims.
- To answer your question, it depends what platform you're using. If you're using a console then I'd recommend GTA4, as TS3 for console is basically TS2 for PC (blame the loading screens) plus rabbit holes. I'm not sure what you should do if you're on a PC but given EA's recent ignorance, I'd probably go with GTA4 there too. Though I will say that if you haven't played TS2 for PC then I'd strongly advise you to get that plus all of the expansion packs. Lost Labyrinth
