This article describes features that are only available in The Sims 3: Late Night.

The Sims 3: Late Night introduces the hidden room marker. Placing this marker in a room on a residential lot will turn the lot into an apartment and hide the room that it is placed in. Here is a guide for creating a hidden room by placing this marker into it.

Step-by-step instructions[edit | edit source]

The hidden room marker, located in buydebug.
  1. Open the cheat window by typing ctrl + shift + C and type in testingcheatsenabled true.
  2. Retype ctrl + shift + C and type in buydebug on.
  3. Go into buy mode > Sort by Function > Debug (the question mark icon) > Misc. Objects.
  4. Find the item that looks like a silver ball and named the "Hidden Room Marker".
  5. Place the item anywhere in the room that you want to stay hidden.

CAUTION: Once you place this, you can not delete it, and you can't enter the room.
