Game guide talk:The Sims 2
Ideas[edit source]
Hey guys! Here are some ideas for tutorials to get us started:
- Tutorial:How to make a vampire
- Tutorial:How to save a dieing loved one
- Tutorial:How to climb to the top of a career in little time
- Tutorial:How to handle a large Sim family
- Tutorial:How to get two opposite Sims to fall in love
- Tutorial:How to make a large mall
- Tutorial:How to become a witch
- Tutorial:How to become a werewolf
Just some ideas. Generally, I think we should have a large quantity of tutorials. This will increase traffic massively. I'll make an announcement about the tutorials opening up on our Facebook page. --BobNewbie talk • blog 07:02, February 16, 2011 (UTC)
- One thing - make sure that the new tutorials follow naming conventions... Don't have them start as 'Tutorial:How to do blah', start them as 'Tutorial:Doing blah'. For example, I've moved Tutorial:How to make a vampire to Tutorial:Making vampires to fall in line with TSW Manual of Style guidelines. Otherwise, this is good! -- LostInRiverview talk · blog 15:23, February 16, 2011 (UTC)

- I changed the links again, to more completely illustrate what I'm talking about. - LostInRiverview talk · blog 21:28, February 16, 2011 (UTC)
- Wow, I feel like a complete idiot now that I've made the point to re-read the MoS... I will quote:
- They also state that nouns should always be in singular and verbs in gerund-form (verb + -ing: "making a cake") unless the words are only used in one particular form ("Scissors", for example).
- So, I have again changed the links to make the absolutely, 100% proper according to MoS standards that I now definitely and with complete confidence know. Now I have to get to work moving articles... -- LostInRiverview talk · blog 21:43, February 16, 2011 (UTC)
