When used successfully, a Sim can print his/her own money, which is collected and added to the household's account. The money produced using the machine is not automatically added to the household's account; a Sim must be selected and directed to remove the cash from the bag behind the machine.
 
There is a huge possibility that a [[Police|police officer]] will arrive and fine a Sim for using the machine if the user has a low [[aspiration bar]], or uses the machine for too long. If this happens, the machine will become inoperable, and all money illegally printed cannot be added to the household account.
 
Additionally, after threea hourslong period of continuous use, the machine may catch fire, destroying all money accumulated in the bag and making the machine unusable. This may occur even if the Sim using the machine has a high aspiration bar.
