Gloomy is a emotional trait that was introduced in The Sims 4. This trait conflicts with Cheerful.


"These Sims tend to be Sad, can Sigh to other Sims, and while Sad, gain a boost to their Creative Skill."

Gloomy Sims randomly get a "Feeling Sad" (Sad +1, 4 hours) moodlet. If they engage in creative pursuits like Painting or Writing when Sad, they get a creative skill boost, while being able to paint Sad paintings or write Sad books.
