Sims can recieve a couple benefits from being friendly with their specters, specters can leave behind spooky candy and ecto cupcakes every now and then and Sims can recieve special items after the specters leave such as soul scraps, sacred candles, etc. The added bonus of specters is that they are able to protect your home from unwanted visitors such as [[Vampire|vampires]] like [[Vladislaus Straud]] or even the Welcome Wagon.
