*One of the reasons he was missing for the last 2 thirds of the game is your Sim possibly ran him out of town, because after the credits you become Mayor.
*After he disappears, if you ring him he always says that he is in a happy mood in the City Hall, which of course he doesn't seem to be in the City Hall.
